　　作者简介

　　丁其林(奇领)，新华通讯社主任记者。1957年9月出生，1982年毕业于安徽大学外语系，此后曾在蚌埠卫生学校和蚌埠教育学院教授英语。1987年起就城这乙它据得声读于中国社会科学院研究生院新闻系，专攻英语新闻采编，1990年毕业并获得法学硕士学位。作者从1990年起在轻资打设新华社对外新闻编辑部先后从事社会新闻、北京新闻超资外关活被价美阿、突发事件、民族、政法、外事等领域的新闻报道，并从事过儿年的对外新闻报道的研究工作。数年来，作者采写中英文新闻稿件两千余条并为有关刊物序乙乙制开撰写、翻译和编译过不少文章。1998年起，作者开始在新华社中国特稿社为海外报刊杂志采写英文特稿。
